I tatted this heart many years ago, it is from a Workbasket Magazine, I'm not sure of the year or month, I can't locate my copy of the magazine at the moment. But this heart reminded me of spring, with the daisies in the center of the heart.
This is one of my favorite patterns Carol. I'm thinking it is 1957 - I have it somewhere on my blog..well..it appears only the hearts, not the exact issue the pattern is in.
Thanks for letting me know the year Gina. And I know the book you mean "Workbasket Collection" I think my Mom has this one. I'll have to ask her to look it up. I think the heart was also in Mary McCarthy's "Knots Newsletter", Someone made some changes on the heart. You still needed the original pattern to make the heart, only the changes were printed in the newsletter. I'll have to go dig this one up and check out the difference.

Very pretty, Carol - I like the color combination you used with this pattern.
This is very spring-like,indeed! Very nice colors and great job on the tatting.
Fantastic Carol!
Yay! You found it. You put beads on it and everything. It's so amazing all the color combinations. I'm glad you figured out the title thing.
P.S. I remember wanting to tat the daisy's with a yellow center, also, and then I thought, "Nah, too much work" LOL. You worked hard on this heart.
This heart is very pretty Carol. I also love the earrings in the previous blog. You did a great job!
Pretty pattern and super choice of colours.

OH, it's also in the workbasket collection of patterns - can't think of the actual name of that book either!

Thank you everyone for your kind comments on my heart. I just thought the daisy colors would look so pretty in this heart.
It looks like February 1985 to me.
Nice colors!
Thanks Martha, I'll go check that year of my Workbaskets! I made this heart so long ago that I can't remember the issue at all.
Very cute!
