Tatting Seahorses Again

I'm tatting Seahorses again.  I do love Jane Eborall's Seahorse patterns.  She has two sizes of sizes Seahorses.  I used the Medium size Seahorse this time. There is also a little Seahorse Earring pattern, which is adorable!!  Last year I was at a craft show and I saw a Seahorse pendant, it was made of metal and I thought I could tat a Seahorse pendant.  So here is my version of the Seahorse pendant.

I work at the Vandergrift Public Library and in March we held a birthday Party for Dr. Seuss.  My daughter dressed up in a costume, which was a "What is That", so the costume could be anything.  I made a mask for the outfit and added a little bit of a tatting around the edge.
I also want to wish my son "Cameron" a Happy Birthday!!  He turned 16 in April.

Oh my GOSH, Cameron was only a wee lad when I first knew you. Now both he and Katrina are all growed up. I feel OLD, SOOOO OLD.

Oh my! You used to have a photo on your blog of you sitting with your very young children. I guess we all grow up. :-)

More seahorse tatting is on my list too. Yours are so sweet!

Also love this pattern and need to make one to put in a frame, good idea as pendants.

At the Maple Festival, two young girls were SO PROUD to be wearing the seahorses their grandparents bought them! The pendants looked adorable, and I'm sure will get a lot of attention from the girls' friends!

I also saw Teri D's turtle pendant, and can't believe how tiny the beads are!
And I definitely am going to order a Pop-A-Bobbin shuttle!

We recently went to the Zoo and I finally got to see how you took that photo in the shark's tank!

Happy Birthday, Cameron! Woooohooo!

Oh Carol, the pendants are beautiful! Who wouldn't want to wear a seahorse?! Wonderful colors. And I love your daughter's mask too. Heeheehee, I like the way the feathers look like ears. :)

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments. I can' believ how quickly the years have gone by and that Cameron is now 16 and Katrina is in college.

Hi Bella, the mask certainly is crazy looking, but I guess that fits in with the Dr. Seuss theme, so anything goes. :)
