Tatted Pig and Lady Shuttle Maker's Giveaway

I Tatted this cute little pig a few months ago and forgot to post a picture of her. She is a Pam Palmer design, she is in one of her Tatting Treats books. I'm not sure I like the background paper I used behind her, I may change it to a plain lighter pink bacground.
I think I am done tatting leaves and will start on some pumpkins tonight.
Happy Tatting!!

That's SOME pig. Hee, hee. (Did you catch the Charlotte's Web reference?)

Isn't Lady Shuttle Maker's Giveaway fun? Simple, enticing. Love it!

Leaves? You have been tatting leaves? I just started tatting a leaf this morning. Would love to see yours. And the pumpkins too.

LOL Isdihara!! That's such a cute story. I could tat a big ol spider to go with my pig. LOL!!

I'll be blogging about my leaves soon. I thought I was done doing leaves, but I will do 2 more and then a few pumpkins. Can't wait to see your leaves too!!

Very cute pig. It really would be cute with a spider!

Carol Schockling Lawecki said...

Hi Tattycat, Someone else mentioned Charlotte's Web, I agree, I need a tatted spider in the corner of the picture. That would be cute. LOL!

OOoooooooohhhh! I absolutely ADORE pigs, and I really love the pretty flowers on this guy's (gal's?) backside. Delightful!

I hope you're feeling better now!

Carol Schockling Lawecki said...

Hello Bella, originally my pig was a gal, now he might be a guy. someone suggested a spider to go with my tatted pig and he could be the pig from Charlotte's Web. Sounds good to me. Have a great day!

Isn't it funny about pigs.... This is definitely a girl! No one would mistake Miss Piggy as masculine, so I cannot see why anyone could mistake this pretty little miss as male! LOL!

I guess beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder, after all!
Fox : ))

Hi Fox, You are right, she is a girl, in the book, her name is Petal the Pig. But she sure would look cute with a spider hanging from the corner like in Charlotte's web.

How many hours? do you keep track? that's the pig who ate the roast beef for sure!!!! DARLING!
Put him on a green, or dark red background, then he'll 'pop', so to speak.

Hello Auntie Char, thanks for stopping by. AH huh, another famous pig!! I forgot about him!! The dark red background might be a better choice!! Thanks for the input!

I don't normally keep track of how long it takes to tat something, but looking at the pig I might estimate 4 hours.

That little pig is so cute.
That tatting looks terribly complicated though, is it?

Hey Carol:
Love your pig. I have a couple more followers. I am so excited!!!

Hi Stacey,

Thanks for stopping by. Tatting is not complicated at all. Once you learn how to do the double stitch your set to go.

Hi Rayanna, I think my little tatted piggy is cute too. Getting followers is exciting.
